The original SY is a drop-in 1000+square ft indoor playspace for children of all ages and their caregivers.

The space is thoughtfully designed and lovingly equipped with wooden toys, trucks and blocks, recycled handmade woolen animals, dolls, mermaids, balls, and felted balls http://www.neartisansstudio.com/html/pear_tree_studio.html, fairies and folk tales characters, Sarah silks www.sarahssilks.com, sheep skins, a infant/toddler play structure (that I always see nine year olds really enjoying), specifically chosen books, a play kitchen and a country store.

The NEW Petite SY/TreeGarden was designed as an annex to the original. Nestled in my home, it is much smaller yet has access to the outdoor playscape, called TreeGarden. It is here that we have the weekly 2/3’s Programs, as well as the drop-in Community Playgroups on Monday and Thursday at 9:30am; playgroups are only $5 per family, healthy organic snack included. The 2/3’s Program is drop-off, reservations are required and it is $10 per child for more information go to the Tues/Wed page on this website.

The original SongYard is a drop-in facility, open 7 days, from 10am to 6pm . It is $5 per family and we work on the honor system and believe it or not, it works for right now. The families of Chester and the surrounding towns plus our visiting families from other states, value this space and care for it as if it is their own.  And because of this I have had 10+ years of generous energy circulating thru these walls. This space is meant not only for the littles but for the parent, grandparent or caregiver that needs a clean, beautiful, safe environment to either kick up their heels on the meditation furniture, meet friends or quietly play with their little one(s) in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that is inspiring to all that enter.
